NYWomenLeaders.org is operated by the New York Women Leaders Association. The numbered provisions that follow form the subscriber contract for this site.
01 | Scope
1.1 Use of material obtained from this website, whether by streaming or by download, is regulated by this subscriber agreement (the "Agreement"). The Agreement has legally binding force. Keeping your own copy is recommended.
1.2 "Content" refers collectively to the seminars, conferences, webinars, eBooks, eDocuments and other items made available here, each of which is published by the New York Women Leaders Association ("the Association"). "We", "us" and "our" refer to the Association.
1.3 Intellectual property rights in the website and the Content are owned by the Association or its licensors.
1.4 Although applications are processed as promptly as the Association can manage, no particular time after purchase is guaranteed for Content becoming available to you.
02 | Acceptance
2.1 Acceptance of the Agreement was requested of you either prior to your first subscriber access to Content or in a confirmation e-mail received afterward, and is requested at each renewal.
2.2 Each access to Content also constitutes your acceptance. Provision 10 records updates to the Agreement; refer to it to establish whether an update has been made since your previous visit.
2.3 If you decline the Agreement, or have no authority to accept it on behalf of your business or employer, you must not access or use Content.
2.4 A subscription acquired for your use at a company or other organization that employs or engages you also binds that organization upon your acceptance. You and that organization are jointly responsible for use of Content in conformity with the Agreement.
2.5 Within any organization, every user requires a separate subscription.

3.2 Subscriptions are single-user only.
3.3 "ID" denotes your username, password and other website access details. All use of Content via your ID, by you or by others, is your responsibility, as is prevention of unauthorized use of your ID.
3.4 Immediate notice by e-mail to Service@WomanLeaders.org is required if you want to change your ID or believe a security breach has occurred, including disclosure, theft or unauthorized use of your ID or any payment information.
04 | Intellectual Property and Licence
4.1 The Association or its licensors own all intellectual property rights in the Content, copyright and database rights included.
4.2 You acknowledge that "New York Women Leaders Association" is our trade mark. Use of it requires the Association's written permission.
4.3 Licence. Non-exclusively, and for your own legitimate business or personal use, you may (a) retrieve and view Content on any compatible device; and (b) for Content offered as a download, download and store one copy on a storage device personal to you, for example a USB drive, but not on a shared drive, shared server or other storage device connected to a network.
4.4 Restrictions. You may not, and may not permit any third party to:
- except as provision 4.3 expressly permits, copy, reproduce, broadcast, transmit, modify, abstract, create derivative works of, store, archive, aggregate, publicly display, redistribute, share, forward, license, sub-license, publish, sell or commercially exploit by any means any Content;
- share your ID with any individual or other third party;
- make your ID available to multiple users, including on a network or within an organization;
- remove copyright or trade mark notices from Content;
- frame, harvest or scrape Content, or do anything similar; or
- use Content for an unlawful purpose.
4.5 We reserve the right to monitor your use of any Service.
4.6 Breach of provisions 4.3 or 4.4 permits the Association to suspend your access to Content or cancel your subscription.
4.7 RIGHTS RESERVED BY THE NEW YORK WOMEN LEADERS ASSOCIATION UNDER THIS SUBSCRIBER AGREEMENT DO NOT PREJUDICE ITS OTHER RIGHTS AT LAW, WHICH INCLUDE ITS RIGHTS UNDER APPLICABLE COPYRIGHT LEGISLATION.
05 | Pricing and Payment
5.1 More than one subscription level or type may be offered at any time, with Content and services varying by level as disclosed when you acquire it. The Association may change Content, services or any level at any time.
5.2 On subscribing you must supply complete and accurate payment information, and you agree to pay at the rates in effect on your subscription date.
5.3 Submission of card payment details constitutes your warranty that you are entitled to purchase a subscription with those details.
5.4 Absent timely payment or payment authorization, or upon subsequent cancellation or refusal of an authorization, we may immediately suspend your access to Content or terminate your subscription.
5.5 Charges are denominated in US dollars. Applicable taxes may also be payable by you.
06 | Cancellation
6.1 Placing an order constitutes your agreement that the subscription may commence immediately on our acceptance of the order. No refund is therefore due for a change of mind after access has been provided.
6.2 Subject to provision 6.1, you may not cancel the subscription, wholly or partly, before the end of the subscription period then current.
6.3 Notice of intended cancellation may be given at any time but takes effect only at the end of the subscription period then current. No refund is payable except in the limited circumstances set out in these terms.
6.4 Cancellation notices are to be sent to our Customer Services team at Service@WomanLeaders.org.
07 | Renewal and Termination by the Association
7.1 Payment terms and subscription lengths may vary; those applicable are disclosed at the time you subscribe.
7.2 An annual subscription renews for another year unless, before the annual period ends, you notify us that you no longer wish to receive it.
7.3 Renewal charges are taken from the card or other payment method you previously used.
7.4 The Association may suspend or terminate your subscription for breach of these terms and conditions, with or without notice and without further obligation to you, and may also do so if circumstances beyond our control prevent us from providing services to you.
7.5 Where we terminate your subscription for any reason and/or permanently cease publishing Content or providing subscription services, we will, unless exceptional circumstances exist, issue a pro rata refund to your credit card equal to amounts you paid in advance in respect of the remaining unexpired period of your subscription.
